Since its inception in 1985, Creative Group has tirelessly worked for the well-being of children and the elderly. Helmed by Chairman Vijay Kumar Agarwal and the Agarwal family, the main purpose of the Trust is to educate children and to provide medical aid to the needy. The Creative Group’s CSR programme has three main areas of focus:

PR Sarkar Charitable Foundation

Primary School &
Senior Citizen Home

Shri PR Sarkar, also known as Shri Shri Anandmurti espoused original concepts of metaphysics, epistemology, ethics and macro history. He set out a socio-economic approach conceived in the light of a theistic philosophy to offer the world a progressive social system based on economic justice.

The PR Sarkar Charitable Foundation, based on his principle that service to humanity is service to god, was set up with the intention of helping humanity at large and spreading the message of eternal truth, knowledge, and wisdom through seva, sacrifice, and sadhana.

Towards that goal, the foundation is committed to construct a 50,000 sq. ft. complex on 2.25 acres of land in the suburbs of Mumbai. This will include a primary school for 220 students, a residential facility for 65 children, a well-equipped home for 80 senior citizens, and a recreation facility, a multi-speciality clinic with dialysis facility, day care medical centre, a yoga and meditation centre, a library, and a research centre to encourage research into the various aspects of spiritual philosophy.

This is an ongoing project in service of children and senior citizens who are in need and is expected to be complete within a year.

Education and Medical Aid

The Creative Group helps its employees by providing financial aid for education and medical purposes through the Trust. An employee simply needs to fill out the specific form for financial aid according to stated norms; once it is processed and approved, the money is disbursed directly to the institution.

Housing and Personal Loan

To help employees of the Creative Group realise their dreams of owning a house, the Foundation set up the Creative Group Employees Co-Op Credit Society in 1997. The credit society, run and managed by employees, helps provide employees with housing/personal loans; the only criteria is that the employee is a member of the credit society. Loans are provided at a minimum interest; the EMI and interest are deducted from the employees’ salaries.
